THE SQUAB
Upholstery techniques essential to mastering the traditional squab cushion with Armand Verdier.
During this course students will focus on upholstery processes required in order to create a French Squab Cushion whilst acquiring stitching techniques which accompany this.
Ideally the course is for students who have some basic knowledge of upholstery.

One-to-One Upholstery Tuition (Full Attention)
Enjoy a full day of personalised, one-to-one tuition tailored to your upholstery project. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, you will receive hands-on guidance throughout the day. Learn traditional techniques, ask all your questions, and work at your own pace with expert support.
These are tailored sessions designed to meet your specific requirements. You tell us what you would like to learn and achieve and we then develop a programme that meets your needs.

Supported Studio Sessions (Side-by-Side Working)
A more relaxed alternative for those with some experience, these sessions allow you to work independently on your project while I work on mine. I’m on hand to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you troubleshoot as needed. Perfect for building confidence or continuing a project at your own pace in a friendly, shared workspace.
£200 per day / £110 half-day / £40 per hour
